I saw a great movie today, The Station Agent, about a train-fanatic dwarf who inherits an abandoned train station, and befriends two people when he moves there, sort of "falling in love" with one of them (the woman). It was a really sweet film and the main character (the dwarf) is a good actor. The Prophet told me the same actor had played Richard III on Broadway. That must have been wonderful to see, I wonder if it's on DVD.

I tackled the bathtub again today. Tried cleaning it with borax. Didn't work. Tried dilluted bleach. Didn't work. Tried full strnegth bleach. Didn't work. So I had to reach into my poisonous nuclear arsenal and scrub it with DRAINO. I only had one non-punctured rubber glove so had to do it one-handed. I scrubbed the Draino all over the tub and watched it eat away at the slime and gunk that had built up, and then I realized I was coughing and feeling dizzy... so I ran out of the bathroom and nursed the baby (I warned her my breastmilk was now Draino-flavored!), then returned and rinsed. Beautiful! Or at least somewhat. It looks a lot better than before, that's for sure.

One reason I hate cleaning is dealing with all the nasty chemicals. That's why I always try borax first, which (supposedly) is a naturally occurring mineral.
