I brought Mr. Crazy to his first day of Hebrew school today. They're putting him in a class with 7 year olds. The teacher was blown away. "I can't believe how he can read, and only 5 and a 1/2!" she kept saying, and paraded him around to some of the other parents, whom she knew, illustrating her point. Who knows, maybe they're used to really dim-witted students. Mr. Crazy only lasted half the session, though. He got tired and wanted to go home. Glamor Girl was so stricken, utterly stricken to be separated from him even for that short time, that I bought a chocolate bar for her at the corner store, but she was only modestly comforted. She is only half a person without him.
